VyBar and AcousitFlex Marine sound barriers have a unique material construction which results in high sound absorption coupled with resilience and compression loading capability.

Durable yet flexible enough to be used almost anywhere noise control is needed and features a soft and flexible visco-elastic membrane bonded to an aluminium facing foil with a reinforced polyester backing. It’s easy to cut and offers superior performance across the whole frequency spectrum.

 

VyBar effectively treats the phenomena of vibrations, sound transmission and sound reverberation encountered with most noise problems. Vybar is 70% more efficient than foam. Available as 10mm single sheets or 20mm double barrier sheets.

Contrary to foam based acoustic marine products that become powdery and breakdown over time, Vybar and AcousitFlex are not effected by diesel fumes or hydrolysis and will not degrade. Constructed from a poly matting (NOT foam!) this semi-rigid material allows for a clear finish when retro-fitting ceiling lights, pumps, separators etc

 

VyBar and AcousitFlex is designed to line partition walls and bulkheads in marine vessels.
